...even when you like the company and think that you ARE a good fit for the job and think that the interview DID go well.
And then you hang up the phone, and it's - NOW what?!
Now I wait - will they fly me out there for more interviewing? Did I make a fool of myself when I said, "I'm really smart" even tho the interviewer cut me off right then and I don't think he heard me say it? (eek.) And do I WANT to move to that town?
And really - what kind of a job do I want? Even tho I feel like I would be a good match for that company and that position - do I want to do that work?
Ah, life.

sounds bad!!!!!!
Oh, I am so with you on this Margaret.
Job interviews are, indeed, TERRIFYING and job hunting is the WORST!
With all the job hunting and job interviewing I've done in the past three years, I PRAY multiple times a day that Heavenly Father will let me keep my current job! (PLEASE!!!)
Anyway, I wanted to tell you that you have nothing to worry about (except, perhaps, the normal moving issues) --
You have a masters degree, you have traveled and taught in other countries, you have a fun personality, you know everyone on the planet...
No worries! You'll land a GREAT job that you'll LOVE! I just know it.
Oy, job interviews. Just as bad as DTR's, Social Worker visits, and high school reunions.
Are you going for another education-related job, or is this more of a general french understanding and speaking job?
I wish I had some great advice for ya, but I of course don't!! I'm sorry it can't be fun, I feel for ya sweetie! Hang in there!
What town are you talking about? Far away? Tell tell!!
Love ya & can't wait to see ya Sunday!!
You'll be fine. The nice part of your situation is that relocating should be relatively painless. An by "painless," I mean you're-having-your-braces-tightened pain instead of root-canal pain.
Well I hope you get it if it is meant to be!!! I am a huge chicken of interviews!! I have been a stay at home mom to 4 kids soooo long I would not know what to say!! So I started my own online business just to not have to interview!! Good luck to you!!!!
Stacey
